Afternoon and Evening Pottery Classes at One Belmont Yard

Wednesdays 2.30 – 4.30pm and 6.30 – 8.30pm and now also Mondays 6.30 – 8.30pm

Next 4 week courses start Monday 5th March and Wednesday 7th March   

These will take place at the studio at One Belmont Yard, Belmont Road, Whitstable CT5 1QJ 

Cost £60 payable at the first session. There will also be a small charge per lb weight for fired work

Beginners welcome plus opportunities for experienced makers to develop their skills and ideas through experimentation. Techniques covered will include:

  • coil-building
  • slab-building
  • modelling
  • surface decoration

There will be the opportunity to use the wheel, but beginners are recommended a one to one lesson to get started

Classes take place at One Belmont Yard, Belmont Road, Whitstable CT5 1AQ with tea, coffee and biscuits provided, as well as aprons, but please bring your own lunch

 

 

Studio Time

An opportunity to work independently with technical support

Materials provided, with a small charge of £1 per pound fired weight

Cost per 2 hour session       £10
