CLASSES and COURSES for 2020

SIX WEEK COURSES: Each class is in six week blocks in line with school terms.

All dates below are subject to confirmation

Monday Evening Class: 6.30 – 8.30pm
£108 for 6 sessions, suitable for beginners and improvers, starts Monday 20th April 2020

Wednesday Afternoon Class: 2.30 – 4.30pm
£108 for 6 sessions, suitable for beginners and improvers, starts Wednesday 22nd April

Wednesday Evening Class: 6.30 – 8.30pm
£108 for 6 sessions, suitable for those with some experience, starts Wednesday 22nd April

BEGINNERS Friday Morning Class: 10.30 – 12.30pm
£108 for 6 sessions starts Friday 24th April

  • Each set of classes is taught with a theme and a technique as a focus, allowing regular students to build up a wide range of skills. You are also welcome to follow your own projects
  • 5 potters wheels available for use during classes
  • Note: if you wish to work on the wheel, an individual lesson or attendance at a throwing workshop beforehand is recommended, enabling you to work independently

DROP IN SESSIONS (not for beginners, by arrangement only)

Thursday afternoons: 2.30 – 4.30pm

£12.00 (£7.00 if you attend lessons/classes)

NEW! Mondays with George: 10.30 – 4pm

An opportunity to work independently on the wheel with supervision, £4.50 per hour, 5 places, booking essential

10.30 – 4pm £75 inclusive of materials, finishing, glazing and firing your work

  • intensive focus on establishing good technique through observing demonstrations, constructive feedback and direction, and repetition of forms

Each day runs from 10.30 – 4pm and costs £50.00
Limited to 6 places and suitable for beginners. Learn to coil, pinch and slab – this is a flexible day which will allow you to develop your own ideas once you have mastered these basic hand-building techniques – materials, glazing and firing included


2 hour sessions: £35 for one person, £60 for two people

Small groups/families can book 2 or 4 hour sessions – £30 per person for 2 hours, £50 per person for 4 hours

Materials, glazing and firing included, bookable for Monday and Friday afternoons and some Sundays.  Ideal preparation for joining a six week course
